A Walk Through the Arboretum

About a week ago, our class visited the LA Arboretum as part of our Botany block. I had been looking forward to the trip all week. A whole day spent looking at flowers and having fun! In fact I think everyone was looking forward to it.
It was such a splendid day! We drew flowers, eat lunch, wandered around, learned lots and, of course, had loads of fun!

Everyone enjoyed themselves so much, I hope we'll get to do something like it again!

The Oscars

I have to say, the Oscars are one of my favorite things of the year. There's the dresses, the actors and actresses I admire, the films, the surprises, what's not to love? And although the films I love usually don't win, it is still extremely fun to watch. Which film will it be this year?

I found these lovely posters for the BAFTA's (British film awards) and although there is not one for every candidate, they're so neat I had to post them.
