End of Winter

I returned to school to find everything much the same. Snow was on the ground, friends were back, and classes began once more.
Izzy, Morgana and I had a bit of a dance party and then went to see Walker, Abe, Kyle, and Stephen's band play.
For my first photography assignment we were supposed to immitate a form of conventional portraiture. I chose high school portraits from the 80's and 90's.

I spent many afternoons playing music and lying about with Kyle and Walker.
Snow returned again. And then the rain.
We made pizza at Joel's one day. It was delicious.
Lots of late night studying.
For my second photo project I did portraits of my friends sleeping.

New York Part 2

Over the second half of FWT, I stayed with some friends in our friend from schools house in Park Slope. It is a 5 story brownstone which they are planning to renovate, thus was completely empty. I had so much fun living in that house. We cooked food together, explored Park Slope and had many adventures.

I spent a lot of time with Kyle and Walker, exploring and eating good food.
We visited the MoMA several times. I'm not usually too keen on modern art, but I really enjoyed myself.
The big snow storm came and went.
Izzy and I threw a dinner party at her house.

I found an amazing candy store called Economy Candy which was filled with every type of sweet imaginable!
Walker's dad came to visit for a few days which was a lot of fun! We saw an opera, eat delicious food and went to museums.
Our last week in NYC we had some friends over to the house.
I finished out my internship at work. I had a great time working at the Metropolitan Playhouse. I loved my boss and the other intern Victoria. I got to be a part of several productions, sell tickets, help cast a show and paint backgrounds and scenery.
And then off we went, back to Vermont. Lugging many suitcases and bags. I had such an amazing time in New York. I can't wait to go back.
