Yet another drawing from school. I will do new drawings soon, I promise. Anyways, this one was hard in a different way than I'm used to. Shading the hands and making them pop, so to speak. Making them look 3 dimensional was a new challenge for me. Then transitioning back into the flat drawing that they pop from was even harder. In all, it was a very challenging piece. In fact, all of Escher's art is very hard. He was a brilliant, talented man. Now that I look at it, I think I like the lower hand better. It looks a little more realistic to me.

Drawing of the Day: Escher
